Would you like to support a student, a child or a family?
Would you like to give a little to help with our general operations?
If so, thank you!
We have a bank account in Rwanda (it's safer than DRC banks) or we can receive money in DRC by Western Union or Moneygram. Currency Fair does not work from Australia but may be ok from your home country.
Unfortunately, PayPal doesn't work in DRC.
Moneygram (cash service only) works from Australia and is cheaper than Western Union.
It is important for our accountability that all donations are received, recorded and delivered correctly so we ask that even donations intended for a particular individual are paid to the responsible SBV officer.
To send a gift by Western Union or Moneygram, here is the information you will need:
First Name: Alphonse
Second Name: WASEKA KAMANGO,
Address 1: La Frontière 18
Address 2: Katindo
Town/City: Goma, DRC
Australians are encouraged to give via our Rotary Australia World Community Service account.
You can claim a tax deduction this way!
If you have any questions, please contact Alphonse and Penny at and firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can only guarantee accountability if donations are sent to these bank and WU accounts. Please do not send money directly to SBV members because it messes up our books, and we do try to keep them perfect!
We will pass on money in full to whoever you wish to help, in whatever way you specify.
To transfer funds by bank:
Bank Name: ACCESS BANK Gisenyi/ Rwanda
Address: P.O. BOX 2059
UTC Building, 3rd Floor
Account Name: WASEKA KAMANGO Alphonse
Account number: 2002150202533501
Your Donation Makes All The Difference!
Another way to help is to sponsor a specific project.
We list project proposals from within the SBV community and offer some supervision and assistance to help ensure that the investment is properly managed.
Download a copy of the project proposals here.
