The fight takes place within a case, and only one group of RuneScape Gold players could battle The Nightmare at once -- though Ironmen get their own separate case. To initiate the battle, a player needs to simply strategy The Nightmare's body, pick Disturb, and you're going to head straight into the instance. Instead, these hard biscuits have to drink from the Pool of Nightmares to initiate the battle. Either way, only one group can fight The Nightmare at once, with all other players needing to wait until the instance is completed before getting their chance. When the players conquer The Nightmare or every single participant becomes defeated, the battle is finished. You'll known a different group is battling The Nightmare if she's floating above the floor when you reach her, instead of lying on the floor.
The Nightmare of Ashihama is located in Morytania, which means you will have to be able to access this location to take part. That's the only restriction however. You won't really fight her here though -- not really. You actually fight her inside her dreams. Though there aren't any requirements (aside from access to Morytania), acquiring all combat stats above level 85 is recommended so that you do not get decimated in 1 hit. We'd also recommend you get a high Prayer level, since you'll need security prayers to mitigate the harm.
Obviously, having decent high level gear is important also. You may well get by without all of this though, so don't let it put you off if you would like to try. Once in the fight, there are many different routine and special attacks that you'll need to watch out for this that you can successfully mitigate them. Frequent attacks are mitigated with the right prayers, which greatly lessen the damage they cope, though particular attacks will require a different approach. The new update is a sizable one adding a great deal of new challenges and characteristics for beginners and veterans alike. While a large portion of the content targets beginning and free-to-play players, the devs also contained changes to articles for premium subscribers also. In the upgrade, new scrolls clue rewards are added, and the frequency by which Elite and Master puzzlers can experience the Mimic Boss has improved as well. These are just a few of the numerous changes listed in the Treasure Trails upgrade patch notes. Below, we have put together a complete overview of everything new and altered in the newest update.
One of the biggest changes the Treasure Trails expansion brings is the accession of beginner clue scrolls. In earlier times clue scrolls were just available for Cheap OSRS Gold premium subscribers, but with today's update free-to-play players have access to a new pair of beginner clue scrolls. The new clues are a set of short 1-3 step clues that may be completed by any participant irrespective of knowledge or membership. The new clues provide rewards for completing them but veteran players are not needed to complete beginner clues so as to obtain Watson's Master hints.
