I have read on the news websites in Pakistan that after seven years as the host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, comedian Trevor Noah said he would be leaving the show because he wanted to focus more on stand-up comedy.

When he took over in 2015 following the departure of veteran host Jon Stewart, the 38-year-old comedian who was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and migrated to the United States in 2011, he had large shoes to fill.
