Books and Gifts

This is another consignment of books being delivered to the library SBV built at Rutuboko school. The books were provided by Books for Eastern Congo and will be unpacked when the students return to school next month. They will be so excited!

We are also delighted with recent gifts from The Uniting Church in Cooma, and a very special donor from The Presbyterian Church of Cooma, Belconnen Rotary Club, who have supported our efforts to get all of the Mama Wimbi children into school in September, with gifts of $250, $500 and $1000!

We were very disappointed that our District Grant fell $3000 short of our hopes and needs but we are making ground towards filling the void thanks to such generosity!
